Obama wants to do missile strikes on Syria but the U.K., Canada, and Germany are opposed. So far it looks like France is the only other supporter. Obama will seek approval from congress but the public isn't very supportive. I hope they don't go ahead with the strike, but it looks like it will happen.
I am strongly against any action in Syria. Both Assad and the rebels are bad, the situation is a lose-lose conflict. I think it is silly that only a few months ago we were all panicking about the national debt, and apparently we all forgot about that and now want yet another super-expensive war.
